A Thread Pitch Gauge

This is the gauge which is a visual checking device to identify the pitch of a threaded part & it is not a typical metrological device that is used for inspection. This type of pitch gauge is usually coming as a set of thin plates or leafs. With a hacksaw like teeth precisely machined to deliver, nevertheless a pitch gauge is not completely foolproof device that can be used to check & determine a thread pitch & type. A pitch gauge is only a visual comparator it does not decide about the acceptance & non-acceptance of a thread part.
